Speakers & Presenters
I have coached speakers and presenters from business, journalism and medicine, among others. My clients have appeared at TED and TED-x events and conferences across the US and internationally. How I Work: It begins with your unique message: defining, editing, re-writing and shaping it on the page, to make sure you’re 100% confident you are saying what you need to say, with clarity, passion and, wherever possible, humor. Then we move on to how you want to say it: the nuts and bolts of presentation, tailored to the message you are delivering. There is no cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all approach to presentation: each speaker and each message is unique, and my work is personalized to reflect your needs and your strengths. |
"Jim Fyfe is the coach who helped me conquer my stage fright for the TED stage, he is also a gifted editor who helped me refine and hone my message. By the time I got to TED, I couldn’t wait to get out there and say what I needed to say. I can’t recommend Jim highly enough." - Susan Cain, Author of "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking" and Co-founder, Quiet Revolution |
"Working with Jim is a complete joy! He is funny, compassionate and uniquely gifted.
Jim helped me to step into confidence about the power of my own style. He taught me how to bring humor into my remarks-- and was masterful at finding the nugget in a story to maximize audience connection. Over time, I have noticed an appreciable increase in my comfort and ease as I have moved from facilitation to presentation. Thank you, Jim!!" - Robin Stern, Ph.D. Associate Director, Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence |
